Luke 2.8-14
Who is this God Almighty, who comes to save us from the birth of a child in a manger?
Who is this God Almighty, who chose to share our joys and our sufferings, becoming like all of us?
Who is this God Almighty, that makes us the best gift?
God, our God is a God of humility and sharing.
He shows us his infinite love in the eyes of a newborn.
It is He who comes to us in simplicity.
On the night of Christmas, we welcome the good news, along with the shepherds.
On the night of Christmas, we sing with the angels.
On Christmas Eve, we celebrate the coming of God among us, the Son given to us.
